Brok & ZikCall

Privacy

This page is a translation, for information only: the French version prevails.

Who is responsible

Christophe Pons, sole trader, Brok & Zik, 8 rue du Grand Mail, 07130 Saint-Péray, France, SIREN 942 448 788. For any question about your data: contact@brokzik.fr, a letter to the shop or +33 7 68 16 20 80.

Your messages

The “Write to us” form sends us your name, your phone number and your message. They are used to call you back and reply to you, nothing else. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.

Your consignment offers

The consignment form sends us your name, your phone number, your email if you give it, the description of your items and up to three photos. They are used to consider your offer and reply to you: these are steps you ask us to take before a possible consignment.

These messages arrive in the shop's mailbox. We keep them for as long as it takes to reply, then for three years at most after our last exchange. The required fields are the ones without which we could not reply to you.

Your visit

Like any website, this one receives your device's IP address and some technical data: browser, page requested, time. Our host uses them to send you the pages and to protect the website against abuse, and keeps them in its logs only as long as these two uses require. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the website securely.

The map

The map on the shop page only loads from Google Maps if you click on it. Google then receives your IP address and may set its cookies, under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Who receives your data

Your messages are read by the shop. Our service providers act only on our behalf: Impact-eMédia, in Bourg-lès-Valence, which built the website and maintains it; Vercel Inc., which hosts it and stores its photos and backups in Paris; OVH SAS, which hosts the shop's mailbox in France. Nobody else receives your data, unless the law requires it, and we do not sell it.

Outside the European Union

Vercel Inc. is an American company, which may process data in the United States. This transfer is covered by the Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, and Vercel Inc. is certified under it. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

Your rights

You can see your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object to its processing or get a copy to pass on to someone else. Consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting what was done before. You can also tell us what should happen to your data after your death.

To do so, write to contact@brokzik.fr or to the shop. We reply within one month, which can be extended by two months if the request is complex; we will then tell you within the first month. If we have doubts about your identity, we may ask you to confirm it.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.

Security

Exchanges with the website are encrypted. The back office is open only to the shop's and Impact-eMédia's accounts, and an account is locked after several failed login attempts. The catalogue and its photos are backed up every night, in Paris, and each backup is kept for 30 days.
